Fire Pictures
Here are some pictures from today.
Well in the PHOTO section under valley fire/

1200 Acres already burned and the winds are picking up.

I could not get any shots of actual night, but once the light was gone all you could see was fire and some areas with flame burst of 15-20 feet.

Addition 11:23 PM : Now 3700 Acres are burned.
New pics posted of what it looks like in the dark,
and some silly light tricks.

Update 10:50 AM Thursday : The fire line has moved Southwest
and has now covered 16,000 Acres, from Chatsworth to
the outskirts of Calabasas, 15 miles in all.

Update 4:33 PM : The wind has changed directions
and the smoke cloud has blocked out the sun at the house.
The fire is now 5 miles away in some places, but does not threaten us.

Throwing in the Towel - The 59th Post
Well here we are. 4 or so months after starting this thing and as you may well have gathered I am out of steam.

I hope that my ramblings have meant something to someone along the line. Alan and I will eventually post here again, not necessarily in the form of a blog but at rosewoodat5th.com.

We will leave this up so of course you can come back if you want to re-read anything or enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for reading.
